Thoughts on Icograda

We had a great time in Vancouver, learning about the value of design (or rather, design currency).
Things that stuck with us from the Icograda conference:
- We (as designers) are culture makers
- In design, we can balance traditional values with contemporary lifestyle in a beautiful way
- The value of design is in feeling
- Let’s cultivate cultural richness rather than financial richness
- Designers need to redesign themselves constantly and with enthusiasum
- Embrace Delight, wonder, craft, curiosity, imagination,and joy
