Design sponge has an excellent ‘living in’ feature of Julie and Julia.
I really believe that design is all about immersing in our interests and using those life experiences to inform the work. Whether it may be a personal hobbies, pop culture, or literature. Somehow, elements of what we love will creep in to our professional work somehow.
As you may have noticed (if you follow our blog) food and cooking are a big part of Woodward Design.
We watched Julie & Julia over the holiday break and it truly made my heart swoon! Sure, a little girly but a wonderful story about the pleasures of food.
I am ready to cook my way through 2010 and I fully expect that Dana and Kristin will not be complaining when they get treats with afternoon tea…
