I love this post by poppytalk. She displays the most influential designs and ideas of 2008 and then we get to watch to see how these pieces influence creators in 2009! This is only part 1. Once the other ones are posted I will link to them here for your Monday morning enjoyment. I love that moustaches is one of the themes.

For myself, I have been particularly enjoying modern ceramics/pottery (like the pieces above), felted fibers (wool working with natural elements and jewellery), recycled design and typography. What has been inspiring you this year?
