I’m featuring one of our music clients today. We worked with Joel this year to design his CD packaging and promotional material. I took these photos of the end product on our old and slightly worn front porch.

I think musicians and designers have a natural connection because we enjoy and respect each others medium of expression. Our studio does design and illustration work for two folk festivals, a chamber music group, an organ recital group not to mention all of the theatre and dance stuff that has music in it. We volunteer at the Edmonton Folk Fest with enthusiasm every year. The fact that music is a huge part of our lives is no coincidence… it gives us inspiration for the stuff we create.

When we saw Joel perform at his CD release we were honoured to play a part in his process. I highly recommend his disk for a last minute stocking stuffer!
